I took Alphabetic Phonics 1, 2, 3 and acheived a CALT certification, Grammar, and The Sound Caseâ„¢. What a gift the center has been through time. It all started at Heartspring, then to the mall location, then to the one near Big Brothers/Sisters, and finally to the gorgeous new school. Each class, from the beginning class to the the last one completed has met the needs of children I know. The students were each a puzzle until the information and skills taught in these locations by Jeanine and her chosen staff helped me see how to help individuals with individual needs in class settings. Whew! The materials are gorgeous, but they are functional as well. The books are beautiful in illustration and in words and ideas. I taught K-8th grade regular classes, K-8th grade reading specialist, as well as gifted education. I also used the materials to help some high schoolers in private sessions. Almost every time, what I had learned and the materials I had helped break through to help a child. What a gift this training has been to the students I taught and to me. So exciting and worth everything to have these skills and this knowledge of why a child learns the way they learn and how to reach each and every one possible.
